The Short Version

FormaPauper sets no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. There is nothing on this site that follows you to other websites, builds a profile of you, or hands your activity to a third party. You are not asked to sign in to use anything on the public site, and nothing you type is used to identify you.

What We Store in Your Browser

Instead of cookies, the app keeps what it needs in your browser's own storage, on your own device. It is all strictly necessary for the tool to work, and it never leaves your device on its own:

  • Your preferences — the theme you chose and your cookie-consent choice, so we do not ask again on every visit.
  • Your work in progress — the case information you enter, your Document Wizard answers, and your exhibit list, held so you can move between steps and come back to them.
  • An anonymous session identifier — a random value that lets the app count anonymous, aggregate usage (for example, how many visitors opened a guide) without knowing who anyone is. It is not linked to you, your case, or anything you typed.

None of this is transmitted anywhere unless you use one of the two AI features, which are described in the Privacy Policy.

Counts, Not Cookies

To understand which guides and tools are actually useful, we record anonymous aggregate counts — page views, guide views, wizard starts and completions, and form downloads. These are plain counters sent to our own server. They contain no personal information, no case details, and no free text, and they are never sold or shared. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, and no cross-site tracker on this site.

Other Requests Your Browser Makes

Loading any web page makes network requests. On this site those are: our own page files; web fonts requested from Google Fonts (that request shares your IP address with Google, and sets no cookie); and, if you open an official court form, the court's own website. We do not use any of these to track you.

Clearing What We Store

Clearing this site's browser data removes everything in the list above, and nothing of yours remains anywhere. You can also clear your session from inside the app at any time. Because we hold no personal information about you on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Your California Privacy Choices

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no sale or share for you to opt out of. See Your California Privacy Choices in the Privacy Policy for the full statement.
